Strandwoven™ Aspen is a wood composite made in the USA from a mix of species found in the Northeast forests, mainly being comprised of Oak, Pine, Birch, Aspen, Poplar, and Maple. Immature trees, those usually pulled during forest thinning operations to ensure the larger trees have space to grow, are set aside, cut into small pieces or strands, and then mixed together into a composite and structural block, before being made into engineered flooring. The linear pattern of the ASPEN highlights modern lines of design, but it also has a way of effortlessly providing dimension to rooms and spaces to which it is installed
